A light chutney with a spicy tinge to it that goes wonderfully with a hearty sandwich.

Ingredients:

Plum tomatoes 1 pound
Sugar 1/2 pound
Raisins 1 cup
vinegar 1 cup
Water 1/2 litre
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1tbsp

Preparation:

Peel the tomatoes.
Cut the peeled tomatoes into pieces and cook them very well.
Drain the water and add salt and red chilli powder.
Then add sugar.
Now put this mixture on low heat or until it become thick like sauce.
Add raisins and let it cool.
Spicy tomato chutney is ready to serve.
