Dahi Baingan (Egg Plant With Yogurt)

Baingan fried in oil and then dipped in spicy yogurt. Dahi Baingan can be eaten by itself, with plain, fragrant boiled rice and even with Chapatis.

Ingredients:
6-8 small brinjals (cut in round thin slices)
2 cups yoghurt
Chopped green chillies for garnishing.
1 teaspoon zeera powder
A pinch of red chilli powder
Salt to taste.
Oil for frying
Whole Zeera
SOme brown onion for garnishing.
Preparation:
Fry the brinjal slices till lightly browned. Remove from oil and keep aside.
Whip yoghurt, add zeera powder, red chilli powder and salt. Now add the fried brinjals.
In a small pan heat 1 table spoon oil, add zeera. Fry till it crackles. Then pour it over the yoghurt and brinjal mix.
Sprinkle green chillies and brown onion.
Serve and Enjoy!!!
