Ingredients:
Cucumber, 1 large(chopped into fine pieces).
Green Chillies, 4 med.
Tamarind, very little(soaked in water).
Cilantro, few leaves.
Salt, to taste.
Oil, 2 tsp.
Mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp.
Urad daal, 1 tsp.
Methi seeds, few
turmeric powder, little.
Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan and add urad daal and mustard seeds.
When mustard seeds start to fry and urad daal change its color to red add methi seeds and turmeric powder.
When methi seeds and urad daal turn both turns red remove it from the stove let it cool.
After it gets cool grind it with green chillies, salt, tamarind(soaked) and cilantro.
After the ingredients are ground put them in the blender and finally add cucumber(chopped) and blend them for couple of seconds so that the cucumber mix well with all the other ingredients.
Make sure dont make a fine paste, Cucumber should just slightly crushed.
Enjoy with rice or rotti.
